Cool: Treehouse uses CodePen for "Code Playground"
I'm a fan of Treehouse. They do great stuff on a regular basis. They're arguably the best place online to learn web development and their growing student body of 25,000+ aspiring web developers is proof.
This time they kicked it up a notch by partnering with CodePen to create Code Playground. Code Playground is a way to view and experiment with the raw code from their learning challenges without having to download and run it locally on your computer.
I'm excited about this because it will be a great way to introduce aspiring web developers to CodePen in a way that's not intimidating and helps explain its basic features. Plus, hooray for not having to download compressed website files!
Treehouse links to an example, but you'll need to sign up for a free account first to try it out.
